Not only do we train hard and put max effort in daily, we also strive to do the same as instructors.
Rest assured, Bristol Jiu Jitsu giving its best rendition each and every single day.
The Line
“Alright guys, fix your gis, tie your belts and line up!” Something you’ll hear quite often at Bristol Jiu Jitsu. Its a formal thing we do to start and end the majority of our classes.
We all started at the end of the line, only looking up to our peers at the top of the line, wondering what it feels like to be in that position.
The line is something to be proud of, where you stand really just represents sweat equity. So next time we line up, remember where you are and look to where you want to be.
Because one day you may not be in line, you’ll be facing the line.

In all seriousness, we all want the women in our lives to be able to defend themselves somehow. Jiu Jitsu is the perfect solution – actually most young girls excel at jiu jitsu.
The more girls that will get into jiu jitsu the better.

Words cannot express how proud we are of our very own Todd Smith. Been at this game for a while and FINALLY promoted to the rank of Black Belt.
So proud of the martial artist you have become in the last few years, here’s to many more.

World Champion Mindset

More than technique, we all took away thoughts about mindset, strategy and competition.
A complete genius on the mat backed up by years of hard work and more sacrifice than most people care to imagine. Tried and tested, there is a reason why we have all invested into this man to show us the best path to reach our goals. Can’t wait until next time!
